Committees

The Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce offers members the opportunity to get engaged by serving on a CBCC committee. As a Committee member, Chamber members receive more exposure, are able to network with other business professionals, and develop strong relationships while working towards common goals.

Plan to join a CBCC Committee today, by completing the CBCC Committee Sign-up Sheet and returning it to us via email at staff@coloradoblackchamber.org.
  • Annual Awards Committee – The Annual Awards Committee assists the Chamber in planning its annual signature event. The awards committee is responsible for the overall planning and execution of this event.
  • Black Construction Group – The Black Construction Group (BCG) is a special interest committee of CBCC. This group is responsible for developing programs that encourage business and professional development for our members in the construction industry.
  • Young Professionals Committee – CBCC’s Young Professionals Committee seeks to engage young professionals and emerging entrepreneurs in networking opportunities with each other as well as with business owners and established professionals in the Denver metro area.
  • Women’s Business Forum – The CBCC has created a special interest group to focus on the unique needs of women in business. This committee promotes and empowers women business leaders to achieve their goals by offering networking, education, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Membership Committee – If you like people and helping others to grow their businesses, consider being a part of this committee. The Membership Committee creates and implements programs to increase and retain CBCC, membership. The group explores ways to recognize and acknowledge volunteers, and promotes services offered by the Chamber.
  • Public Policy Committee Help CBCC to set the direction sought in local, county, state, and federal government on behalf of the membership by getting involved with the Public Policy Committee. Volunteers monitor legislation and participate in advocacy efforts.
